The board is a tripartite board with persons from three sectors of the population. The Poverty sector represents low- income persons in the service area. The representative is not required to be low-income themselves, but they must have a connection to low-income citizens, they must live in the same general area as the persons they represent, and they must be able to communicate and report back to those represented about the business of CSNT. We need you to volunteer today! We have one board meeting per month and eleven meetings per year. You will learn much about the history of poverty in America and what is being done to combat it every day here in Northeast Texas. Currently, we have lawyers, judges, community leaders, members of the private sector, and those representing education on our board.
