Dennis McGuire. The church, led by first pastor Rev. Othoe Stegall, had 67 charter members. Upon its founding, Pathway affiliated with the Church of God denomination of Cleveland, Tennessee. The church body originally met at the Gordon Country Club; moved to a building on Collegiate Street for a short time; then purchased a church building at 970 12th Street SE. Pathway remained in the 12th Street location fifteen years, prior to building its current facility. Rev. Ray Evers served over fifteen years as Pastor. Under his leadership, Pathway completed construction and dedicated its current facility on Loop 286 in 2005. In 2010, Rev. Samuel Evers became Pastor, and under his direction Pathway celebrates 32 years, continuing to move forward in ministry with special focus on missions and discipleship.
